Laura, a Montreal girl, met her husband Edward out West when visiting her sister. I think the average Canadian girl would swoon at any man who says he’s a Royal Canadian Mountie! After hearing the full story during the reception at their wedding I learned that she did make him work a little harder than that. I’m probably weaker than her in that respect but way to go Laura!
I don’t think he had to work that hard mind you. From everything I gather, Edward is kind, chivalrous, romantic, funny. A pure gentleman. I got to see some of that watching the two of them together at the wedding. What I take away from that day is this couple couldn’t be more in love.
As I’ve mentioned in the past, I’m always excited to attend a wedding that has element(s) that are out of the ordinary. It’s not often that I’ve photographed a bridal party complete with their red Serges on! I absolutely loved it! The bridesmaids complimented them by wearing floor length black dresses with a pop of red lipstick. Classy and elegant.
I have so much love for this couple! Laura is one of the sweetest bride’s I’ve had the good fortune of working with, so ready to make my day better when it should be completely about her. Her and her family always put a smile on my face. I’m honoured to have been a part of their day!
Special thanks to James Correia for shooting with me!
