Jenna & Jean-Francois: Married

The words are difficult to find when it comes to this day. I was full of butterflies. Not the same ones you get before standing in front of a class back in high school, ill prepared and sure of embarrassment; I was excited and ready, but wanting badly to live up to her expectations and my own!

J+J are wildly kind, romantic, in love and all around passionate people. They both worked tremendously hard getting their home ready. I've known Jenna for years, and always to be full of life and love. I worried a little when the wedding came that all this work might have caught up and possibly gotten in the way of them fully enjoying themselves. I couldn't imagine it from Jenna, but this amount of work is hard for anyone, and I've seen less break brides in the past. The wedding day came and, well... she was electric. On fire. Glowing. Beautiful. Just... profoundly perfect. Both of them, so happy, the most in-love two people can possibly be.

So many local talents were brought in to make this day what it was, some of the best talents Hudson has to offer.  Even Sauvés arrived for the midnight snack! If you're from Hudson Quebec or visited a few times then that means something to you. Most of the décor and details are created by the bride herself, who is a goddess of upcycled creations! The hair piece, the boutonnieres (images from their parent's wedding), the centrepieces, flower arrangements, table numbers, the signs, and so much more.

Thank you J+J, from the bottom of my heart, for asking me to be the one to shoot this day!
