Normally I encourage my clients to purchase their own props for a number of reasons: It gives them an opportunity to find items that match the theme of their wedding, props tends to be affordable, and on most occasions get destroyed or mysteriously disappear after each wedding, making it difficult for me to keep at the ready.
However, I was asked to provide the props for N+E's winter wedding as it would be a surprise for the bride and I was more than happy to do it. This resulted me buried in craft papers, string, markers, paint and a few hot glue gun burns. Here is the final outcome!
I've come to the conclusion that every so often in our adult years we should arrange a craft day to feel like a kid again (But this time with wine).
The lovely chalk board-plater I purchased from talented artist Jenna Kroon, visit her shop for more delectable finds!
